Mayfair Reads is an annual celebration of reading and literacy hosted on the campus of Mayfair High School. It is always the first Saturday after Spring Break — we invite clubs to sell food and drink, set up a microphone and a cushy armchair, and take turns reading until the book is finished. Everyone is welcome to take a turn on the mic. And if we finish before sundown, we just start over again on Page 1.
Bring a beach chair and a blanket, and sprawl out on the grass for a day of literature and story telling.
